Member ranks

Your points reward useful cooking

Ranks make the contributions that help other cooks visible. The score follows published recipes, saved favourites and active votes, so it stays easy to understand.

How the score stays accurate

  • One active vote on a published recipe earns points, including a vote on your own recipe; changing that vote does not stack points.
  • Removing a vote removes its two points.
  • Each saved published recipe earns five points. Removing it from your favourites removes those five points, so toggling it repeatedly never stacks points.
  • The score is recalculated from recipes that are still published, favourites that are still saved and votes that are still active.
